WELCOME!
My name is Keith Hodgson and I am the Conductor and Music Director for the South Jersey Area Wind Ensemble based in Mays Landing, New Jersey. Established in 1997, the South Jersey Area Wind Ensemble is a community concert band that rehearses and performs a wide variety of music for the modern Wind Band. We perform 5-6 concerts annually to sold-out audiences, bring in guest conductors and soloists regularly and have a long history of commissioning composers, producing recordings, partnering with community organizations and performing at music conventions. The SJAWE was the recipient of the 2006 Sudler Silver Scroll Award from the John Philip Sousa Foundation that recognizes outstanding concert bands in North America. |
The SJAWE makes their home at the Atlantic County Institute of Technology in Mays Landing, NJ, just 20 miles southwest of Atlantic City.
Rehearsals are held from 7:00-9:15 every Monday from September - June except holidays.
